Monday, July 6, 2022, New York, NY–The Firm hosted a week-long enrichment program the first week of June, intended to provide a select group of students with exposure to the expertise and experience of Seaport Professionals.
The Workshop is a series of virtual presentations and discussions where Seaport Global professionals speak to their areas of expertise. Topics included discussions on all asset classes (HY, FI, IG Bank Debt, Options), Structured Finance, Emerging Markets, Capital Markets, Compliance, Legal, Accounting and a Resume Workshop. Each student was exposed to a range of subject matter through the program. Prior to the commencement of the intensive, we encouraged each to stay up to date on the markets and news in order to expand their knowledge and understanding of the financial world and become regular readers of resources such as The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, The Economist and the Financial Times. And finally, we asked them to consider selecting some of the books on our recommended reading list to review.
Our students included multi-levels of diversity and participants throughout the country. The group included 22 highly accomplished High School to Graduate Degree level students.
