Monday, June 17, 2025, New York, NY – At Seaport Global, supporting the growth and development of future financial professionals is a key priority. Each year, in addition to hosting a small, selective cohort of summer interns, Seaport provides two flagship programs: our U.S. and U.K. Summer Workshops.
This year’s U.S. Summer Workshop was one of our strongest yet, with nearly 100 participants and more than 60 professionals contributing their time and expertise. The result was a dynamic and engaging experience that offered students valuable exposure to the industry. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with participants highlighting Seaport’s broad business platform and culture. To help ensure wider socioeconomic access, stipends were awarded to ten students who otherwise would not have been able to join.
The 2025 U.K. Summer Workshop welcomed more than a dozen participants from across the U.K. and Europe. The in-office format provided daily opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on learning with Seaport’s professionals, deepening their career insight while building meaningful relationships. The experience gave participants a foundational understanding of how financial concepts are applied in a practical setting.
We are proud of the progress made this summer and remain dedicated to strengthening these programs in the years ahead. By offering students meaningful exposure, direct interaction, and opportunities to develop skills, the firm aims to provide a strong introduction to a career in finance.
